Going to Boston is one life goal I have yet to complete. A very very sad realization by me. How is this possible? Boston is mere hours (about 4/5 driving, a mere hour by plane). how is it that I have yet to venture to Boston? I will never know. But I see a visit in my future. Boltbus/Megabus both have very cheap tickets to Boston and free wireless internet on the bus (all for $1 if you buy early enough!!) So all I need is a $1 hotel and I'm set.

On a side note... do not buy anything from Armani/Exchange this holiday season. Although I am "employee" of said store I have only been given 10 hours of work in the past THREE weeks. Such limited hours does not pay enough to satiate my shopping impulse. Especially during the Christmas season. I can't even buy their clothes! (even with the hefty discount). Oh and they have yet to pay me... something about an error with my "employee" number. Psh, I know where Armani lives, I'm going to hunt him down for my $10 (after taxes/SS).

Officially an obsession of mine? tastespotting.com, food porn for the gourmand. visually stunning pictures of food gathering from a whole bunch of food blog sites. it makes me so hungry just looking at all that food. Also a good one? seriouseats.com
Food, mainly just looking at it, has become a hobby of mine. My actual gourmet adventures tend to involve microwaves and take out more that grass fed beef and steamed haricot verts. Which is probably a good thing, as I don't want to walk around looking like a heifer.

The art of food blogging is seriously bizarre. Where there were only a handful of food blogs up until a year ago, now there are thousands. It would take months to visit all the (good) food blogs on the internet.
blog takeover!

ok, so seeing as life has taken a major turn since my last post (almost a year since), i think it is time to change the direction of things here. blogs are big, no HUGE now. (I was on the blog train way back in 8th grade). Chronicling my life experiences is great for looking back on, but I think now these hallowed internet pages will take on a more varied theme. Do not fret, I will still manage to complain and whine about my life, but at the same time, intersperse it with news links, youtube videos, book suggestions, and food stuff. I guess i'm the new gwenyth paltrow and this is my online GOOP (google it!) lifestyle blog for the poor college bums of America. come one come all and lets wallow together.
